Use & Care
Furniture made of solid wood is sensitive to the environment.
Variations in humidity and temperature may cause the wood to swell or shrink, resulting in some unevenness and very small cracks may occur (micro surface cracks). Knots and resins are completely naturally. Regardless whether the wooden furniture is waxed, painted or lacquered. These small defects can always occur with massive wooden furniture and are nothing to worry about.
Please follow below care instructions to enjoy your furniture to the fullest:
- Our furniture should be used indoors, unless specifically stated for outdoor use.
- Keep your wooden furniture at an even temperature with stable humidity.
- Recommended climate: temperature of 18-22 degrees Celsius, humidity between 40% and 60%.
- Do not place wooden furniture next to radiators , heating or cooling vents.
- Avoid direct sunlight as this can cause cracking and deterioration of the color.
- Any spills should be wiped up immediately with a damp cloth.
- Take care when moving furniture, avoid mechanical shocks and never drag the pieces across the floor as this will cause damage to the joints.
- Do not put hot, scratchy or wet objects on finished surface; use tablecloth/ place mats.
